Part Time/Full Time
Under the general supervision of the Medical Director, provides care in the following disciplines of a general dental practice: diagnosis, preventive dentistry, pedodontics, removable and fixed prosthodontics, endodontics, fixed prosthodontics and oral surgery. The dentist is responsible for provision and coordination of all dental services. Assist in the provision of in-house dental training for dental and other primary care delivery staff. Assist the manager in the evaluation and supervision of dental clinical and auxiliary staff. The dentist will work closely with the Medical Director, Director of Clinical Operations and other, appropriate staff and administration to identify, develop, and implement the comprehensive clinical services and preventive services, including the coordination of credentialing and privileging of dental clinical staff.
Requirements: Must have a valid license to practice dentistry in California and 2 yrs experience working in a high volume Dental Practice. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Must have knowledge of the full range of professional dental duties in connection with treatment of dental diseases and dental health problems of usual difficulty; knowledge of professional and ethical standards of health care delivery; must be skilled in the management of “team” dentistry using multiple operatories and multiple auxiliaries.
